Cadila Healthcare and Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) announced that they have entered into a settlement agreement with Depomed to settle their ongoing patent infringement litigation related to Gralise 300 mg and 600 mg tablets.

The settlement permits Cadila and Zydus to begin selling generic versions of Gralise on Jan. 1, 2014 or earlier under certain circumstances.

Shares of the company gained Rs 15.1, or 1.56%, to trade at Rs 982.00. The total volume of shares traded was 5,376 at the BSE (10.21 a.m., Tuesday).
