Jet Airways and JetKonnect today announced that, it would uniformly close all domestic check-in counters 45 minutes prior to departure across non metro cities within India, with immediate effect.
The move is an extension of the check-in policy currently observed by the Jet Airways' Group across Metro cities in India, and will enhance On Time Performance across the airline's domestic network.
Guests using Web or Kiosk check-in but with checked in baggage will have to complete all baggage related formalities prior to counter closure.
Gaurang Shetty, senior vice president - commercial, Jet Airways, said, ''Maintaining a uniform counter closure across the entire network will enhance our On Time Performance and consistency across all domestic flights.''
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.7, or 0.23%, to settle at Rs 303.30. The total volume of shares traded was 712,051 at the BSE (Friday).
