Goa Carbon disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 55.74% to Rs 80.36 million from Rs 51.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 0.46% to Rs 849.03 million, compared with Rs 845 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 8.78, registering 55.67% growth over previous year period.
