Shasun Pharmaceuticals announced that the joint venture company named Alivira Animal Health (Alivira) has allotted 74,00,000 equity shares to Shasun Pharmaceuticals in consideration for the transfer of the Shasun's Vizag Unit.

Alivira has also allotted 21,14,165 shares to Devicam Capital, an enterprise jointly owned by the promoters of Shasun Pharmaceuticals and Sequent Scientific for cash.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.95, or 1.13%, to trade at Rs 84.95. The total volume of shares traded was 185,560 at the BSE (2.03 p.m., Friday).
