Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company.
FIIs' shareholding went down to 27.52% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 28% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have reduced shareholding in the company to 9.37% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 9.56% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
Under DIIs, insurance companies held maximum stake of 8.36%, followed by mutual funds / UTI (0.87% stake), central government / state government (0.08% stake) and financial institutions / banks (0.05% stake).
Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding was unchanged at 34.33% at the end of March 2014 quarter.
