Rallis India, a Tata Enterprise and a leading player in the Indian crop protection industry, gained on Thursday after media reports quoted that Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, an Indian investor and trader, raises stake in the company from 9.13% to 10.08%.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 170, up Rs 5.1, or 3.09% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 12:11 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 170 and low of Rs 165. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 52,219.
In the earlier session, the shares lost 0.93%, or Rs 1.55, at Rs 164.90. Currently, the stock is trading down 10.53% from its 52-week high of Rs 190 and above 46.36% over the 52-week low of Rs 116.15.
