NCC, a construction company, jumped on Wednesday after the company's board of directors approved raising of funds upto an amount of Rs 6.50 billion through rights issue of equity shares to the existing members.
The board had also accorded in principle approval for increasing the authorized share capital from Rs 600 million to Rs 1.50 billion.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 41.75, up Rs 3.65, or 9.58% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 42.45 and low of Rs 37.65. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 850,506.
In the earlier session, the shares climbed 4.1%, or Rs 1.5, at Rs 38.10. Currently, the stock is trading all time 52-week high, which is above 152.27% over the 52-week low of Rs 16.55.
