NMDC has registered iron ore production of around 30.18 million tonnes which is approximately 11% more than last year.

The iron ore sales for the company stood at 30.50 million tonnes which is approximately 16% more than last year.

The production of diamonds from India's only Diamond Mine being operated by NMDC in Panna, Madhya Pradesh also registered a remarkable growth of 17% at 37,047 carats compared to 31,533 carats during CPLY.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.55, or 0.39%, to trade at Rs 141.55. The total volume of shares traded was 21,045 at the BSE (9.31 a.m., Friday).
