Escorts Machinery Segment (EAM) in March 2014 sold 6,187 tractors, growth of 0.5% against 6,159 tractors in March 2013.

Domestic sales in March 2014 stood at 6,087 tractors as against 6,123 tractors in March 2013.

Export for the month of March 2014 stood at 100 tractors as that of 36 tractors in March 2013.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.5, or 4.78%, to settle at Rs 120.65. The total volume of shares traded was 658,325 at the BSE (Tuesday).
