TVS Motor Company, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India, recorded an increase of 17% in total sales registering 196,826 units in the month of March 2014 against 167,583 units recorded in the month of February 2013.

The company's total exports grew by 28% with sales increasing from 23,342 units in the month of March 2013 to 29,944 units in March 2014. Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 21% with sales increasing from 19,268 units in March 2013 to 23,340 units in March 2014.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1, or 1.03%, to trade at Rs 98.40. The total volume of shares traded was 309,406 at the BSE (1.21 p.m., Tuesday).
