Suven Life Sciences shares jumped on Wednesday after the company gets two product patents from USA (8598204 & 8551718) corresponding to the New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurodegenerative diseases and these Patents are valid through 2029 and 2030 respectively.

The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective 5-HT compounds discovered by Suven and are being developed as therapeutic agents and are useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease, Attention deficient hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Huntington's disease, Parkinson and Schizophrenia.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 72.45, up Rs 1.25, or 1.76% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 11:01 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 73.20 and low of Rs 70. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 251,368.

In the earlier session, the shares climbed 0.64%, or Rs 0.45, at Rs 71.20.

Currently, the stock is trading down 13.13% from its 52-week high of Rs 83.40 and above 229.32% over the 52-week low of Rs 22.
