The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went down 0.21% to USD 104.52 a barrel (bbl) on Mar. 24, 2014. This was higher than the price of USD 104.74 a bbl on previous trading day of Mar. 21, 2014.
In rupee terms, price of Indian Basket decreased marginally to Rs 6,344.36 a bbl on Mar. 24, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,394.38 a bbl on Mar. 21, 2014. This was due to decrease in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.
Rupee closed stronger at Rs 60.70 a USD on Mar. 24, 2014 as against Rs 61.05 a USD on previous trading of Mar. 21, 2014.
