Geometric fell after the company clarified on report published by newspaper titled 'PE players eye Godrej Group's stake in Geometric'.
"The company has not entered into any discussion with any PE firm or any other entity to change or modify its equity structure. We re-iterate it is not our policy to comment on market rumors or speculation," the company said.
Shares of the company declined Rs 3.2, or 2.64%, to trade at Rs 117.85. The total volume of shares traded was 145,135 at the BSE (11.59 a.m., Monday).
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 122.90 and low of Rs 117.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 146,440.
In the earlier session, the shares declined 1.02%, or Rs 1.25, at Rs 121.05.
Currently, the stock is trading down 9.28% from its 52-week high of Rs 129.90 and above 91.94% over the 52-week low of Rs 61.40.
