Mercator, engaged in coal, oil & gas, commodity transportation and dredging businesses, surged on Friday after the company acquired one 1992 built Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC).
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 23.55, up Rs 2.45, or 11.61% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 12:01 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 23.60 and low of Rs 21.40. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 593,920.
In the earlier session, the shares climbed 2.43%, or Rs 0.5, at Rs 21.10. Currently, the stock is trading all time 52-week high, which is above 158.79% over the 52-week low of Rs 9.10.
