Mahindra CIE Automotive said that the board of directors of the company has issued and allotted 80,017 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each under the employees' stock option scheme.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid up capital of the company has been increased from Rs 92,26,04,490  to Rs 92,34,04,660.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.8, or 2.52%, to trade at Rs 73.30. The total volume of shares traded was 12,168 at the BSE (12.31 p.m., Thursday).
