Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care said that Shailyamanyu Singh has been appointed as an additional director (non-executive director) of the company, approved by the board of directors.

Shailyamanyu Singh's appointment is effective from Mar. 15, 2014 and he shall hold office till the ensuing 50th annual general meeting of the company.

Shares of the company gained Rs 6.95, or 0.23%, to trade at Rs 3,055. The total volume of shares traded was 129 at the BSE (11.41 a.m., Wednesday).
