IL&FS Transportation Networks announced today that its commercial operations (Tolling activities) has been commenced effective Mar. 11, 2014 at the four laning of Narketpally - Addanki - Medarametla Road (SH-2) in Andhra Pradesh. The project has been awarded to the joint venture of Ramky Infrastructure and the company in the ratio of 50:50 by the Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation.

The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 24 years (including 2½ years of construction period).

Shares of the company declined Rs 2.25, or 1.87%, to trade at Rs 118. The total volume of shares traded was 4,061 at the BSE (12.05 p.m., Friday).
