Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, an international, integrated, speciality pharmaceutical company, dropped on Thursday after United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) imposed an import alert, effectively a ban, on the company's Gujarat plant.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 580.95, down Rs 23.05, or 3.82% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 11:33 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 610 and low of Rs 565.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 414,648.
In the earlier session, the shares climbed 4.08%, or Rs 23.65, at Rs 604. Currently, the stock is trading down 11.05% from its 52-week high of Rs 653.10 and above 43.27% over the 52-week low of Rs 405.50.
