Shoppers Stop, leading retail stores operator, announced that one 'Crossword' store at Metro Junction Mall, Kalyan has been opened by the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Crossword Bookstores.

With the opening of this store, there are now 89 'Crossword' stores.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Mar. 11, 2014, falling 7.83% compared with the Sensex's 7.18% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 6.98% as against 3.09% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.25, or 0.07%, to trade at Rs 381.55. The total volume of shares traded was 200 at the BSE (1.04 p.m., Wednesday).
