Hindustan Unilever (HUL) announced on Tuesday that Sridhar Ramamurthy, presently executive director finance & IT and CFO of HUL has been appointed as senior vice president finance for the global markets.

He will be part of the global markets executive of Unilever and based in London.

P. B. Balaji, presently, vice president, finance, Unilever Americas Supply Chain Company will succeed Sridhar as Executive Director Finance & IT and CFO of HUL.

He will join the board of directors of HUL and will be part of the Management Committee of HUL. The changes are effective from July 01, 2014.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.3, or 0.05%, to trade at Rs 556.60. The total volume of shares traded was 77,947 at the BSE (1.41 p.m., Tuesday).
