Mindtree increase efficiencies for SITA�s strategic finance system

MindTree, IT solutions and product engineering services company, announced that it now provides application support and evolutionary maintenance services to SITA, a specialist in air transport communications and IT solutions for its new strategic finance system (SFS) platform.

SITA's new Strategic system (SFS) based on Oracle's business suite, consolidates all internal and external finance processing across the globe for 200 countries, encompassing 310 entities. SFS enables a central finance shared function for all receivables and payables activities across its global network of suppliers, airlines and airports.

Mindtree will provide global level 2 & 3 application support for SFS for a period of 3 years, including Hyperion and OBIEE, database administration and monitoring, consulting services and evolutionary maintenance to improve operational efficiencies, application enhancements, customizations and new report generation.

''Together, Mindtree and SITA have had a successful relationship for more than 7 years, delivering next generation technology solution to airlines, airports and in turn millions of passengers across the world,'' said Krishnakumar Natarajan, MD & ECO, Mindtree.

''We have been operating and supporting SITA's billion and invoicing systems for more than five years and we're excited to be part of this transformational journey to further enhance SITA's ability to serve their customers more efficiency. This partnership also cements Mindtree's position as a provider of Oracle based solutions,'' he added.

Shares of the company gained Rs 23.05, or 1.54%, to trade at Rs 1,524.20. The total volume of shares traded was 6,673 at the BSE (1.14 p.m., Tuesday).
