AstraZeneca Pharma India, an integrated biopharmaceutical company, jumped on Monday after the company said that its board will meet on Wednesday to discuss delisting proposal.
AstraZeneca Pharma India said that the board has received a request from its promoter, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals AB (AZP AB) Sweden, to initiate a voluntary delisting process.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,110.90, up Rs 185.15, or 20% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 12:05 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,110.90 and low of Rs 1,110.90. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 7,786.
In the earlier session, the shares gained 9.51%, or Rs 80.4, at Rs 925.75. Currently, the stock is trading all time 52-week high, which is above 86.71% over the 52-week low of Rs 595.
