Bajaj Auto shares fell on Monday after it announced a fall of 6% in sales to 313,294 units in February compared to 332,387 units sold in last year period.
The sales of its motorcycles decreased 6% from a year ago to 273,323 units, while commercial vehicle sales were down 3% to 39,971 units.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,916.90, down Rs 25.8, or 1.33% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:36 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,951.00 and low of Rs 1,914.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 6,654.
In the earlier session, the shares climbed 1.01%, or Rs 19.4, at Rs 1,942.70.
Currently, the stock is trading down 12.62% from its 52-week high of Rs 2,193.85 and above 15.65% over the 52-week low of Rs 1,657.50.
