NHPC announced on Friday that consequent upon successful trial run of unit no. 4 of Uri - II HE Project (4 X 60 MW), the project is declared under commercial operation from Mar. 01, 2014.

The unit no.1 & 3 and unit no. 2 of the project are already under commercial operation from Oct. 11, 2013 and Dec. 01, 2013 respectively.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.05, or 0.28%, to settle at Rs 17.90. The total volume of shares traded was 152,543 at the BSE (Friday).
