Lanco Infratech (LITL), the leading integrated infrastructure player, surged on Friday after the company is successful bidder for the 1 X 660 MW Supercritical Ennore thermal power station expansion project worth Rs 39.60 billion from Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation, Chennai.
The Letter of Intent (LoI) would be issued shortly as confirmed by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 6.53, up Rs 0.22, or 3.49% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 11:36 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 6.72 and low of Rs 6.48. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 492,534.
In the earlier session, the shares rose 0.16%, at Rs 6.31. Currently, the stock is trading down 54.18% from its 52-week high of Rs 14.25 and above 31.65% over the 52-week low of Rs 4.96.
