Axis Bank, private sector bank in India, has announced that the committee of whole-time directors of the bank has allotted 25,966 equity shares of Rs 10 each on Feb. 26, 2014, under the ESOP scheme of the bank.

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from 46,93,95,200 equity shares of Rs 10 each to 46,94,21,166 equity shares of Rs 10 each.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 1.05, or 0.09%, to trade at Rs 1,236.20. The total volume of shares traded was 126,636 at the BSE (Wednesday).
