JSW Steel, an integrated steel manufacturer, has reported a growth of 55% in crude steel production to 11,09,000 tons for January 2014.

Production of rolled products-flat during the month was at 8,35,000 tons, witnessing a rise of 42% over last year period.

Production of rolled products-long increased by 15% to 1,68,000 tons.

Shares of the company declined Rs 4.2, or 0.49%, to trade at Rs 853.10. The total volume of shares traded was 65,338 at the BSE (12.46 p.m., Wednesday).
