Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL), India's second largest private housing finance company, today announced an offer on its home loan products exclusively for women customers.

Under the 'DHFL Home Loan for Women' offer, all single/ first woman applicants who are also the sole/ co-owners in the property will be eligible for a 25 bps (0.25%) waiver on the rate of interest.

This scheme can be availed at any DHFL office across 456 locations in India till Mar. 25, 2014.

Rakesh Makkar, president & CDO, DHFL, stated, ''DHFL has a legacy of innovating  services and customising products to enable access to home ownership amongst the lower and middle income (LMI) segment. The 'DHFL Home Loan for Women' is a part of the company's endeavour to empower women by encouraging them to invest/ buy a home.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.45, or 2.52%, to trade at Rs 222. The total volume of shares traded was 46,095 at the BSE (12.25 p.m., Tuesday).
