Elecon Engg bags order worth Rs 2.47 bn

Elecon Engineering Company, a material handling equipments and transmission products manufacturer, announced that its subsidiary company namely Elecom EPC projects has been awarded an order from NTPC worth Rs 2.47 billion.

The order is for Ex-works (India) for supply for coal handling plant package of Gadarwara super thermal power project, stage-I (2x800 MW).

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.60, or 2.47%, to settle at Rs 23.65 at the BSE (Monday).
