CEAT, one of the leading tyre companies in India, plunged on Monday after major fire broke out on Sunday at the premises of a tyre manufacturing company in Nahur, near the north-eastern suburb of Bhandup.

Six fire tenders and two water tankers, besides an ambulance have been rushed to the spot.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 268.25, down Rs 11.30, or 4.04% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 11.13 a.m.
