IL&FS Transportation Networks shares jumped after it announced that the company in joint venture with Elsamex SA, wholly owned subsidiary of the company in Spain has been awarded a contract by Roads Department Ministry of Transport and Communications, Republic of Botswana under output and performance based road contracts system (OPRC) for a period of 10 years effective Feb. 19, 2014.
Shares of of the company are trading at Rs 107.95, up Rs 3.75, or 3.60% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 1:22 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 109.90 and low of Rs 104.20. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 19,398.
In the earlier session, the shares declined 1%, or Rs 1.05, at Rs 104.20.
Currently, the stock is trading down 47.66% from its 52-week high of Rs 206.25 and above 10.04% over the 52-week low of Rs 98.10.
