CRISIL, a provider of ratings and research services, announced the appointment of Vinita Bali as an additional director to the board of directors. She will be an Independent and non-executive director.

Bali has had a distinguished global career. She is the managing director of Britannia Industries, India’s premier food company.

Before this, for 16 years, Bali has held a variety of leadership positions in marketing and general management with eminent multinationals like The Coca-Cola Company and Cadbury Schweppes PLC and worked in UK, Nigeria, South Africa, Chile and the USA.

Members of the board of directors of CRISIL include Douglas L. Peterson (Chairman), M. Damodaran, H.N. Sinor, Dr. Nachiket Mor, David Pearce,  Yann Le Pallec and Roopa Kudva (managing director and CEO).
