Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company, reported a fall of 20.72% in group global wholesales in January 2014, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 80,163 units as compared to 101,112 units for the same period in the previous year.
Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 8,34,112 nos. Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range were 30,121 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 3,66,152 units.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in January 2014 were 50,042 units. Cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 4,67,960 units.
Global wholesales of passenger vehicles in January 2014 were 11,411 units. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 1,20,421 units.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 38,631 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 6,711 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 64,494 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 33,920 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 2,83,045 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 3,47,539 vehicles.
Shares of the company gained Rs 12.2, or 3.25%, to settle at Rs 388.15. The total volume of shares traded was 793,263 at the BSE (Friday).
