Ceat reported a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2013. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.59 times to Rs 608.50 million from Rs 169.30 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 15.10% to Rs 13,858.30 million, compared with Rs 12,041 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 16.92, registering 3.50 times growth over previous year period.
