ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank, opened a new branch in Chennai this week, increasing total number of branches in the city to 98.
V.M. Lakshminarayanan, chairman & MD, Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances inaugurated the branch. S. Rajappan, president, Sical Logistic graced the occasion.
The branch will offer the entire gamut of ICICI Bank products including a comprehensive range of deposits, loans and NRI services.
ICICI Bank has over 3,500 branches and extension counters, and over 11,000 ATMs spread across the country.
Shares of the bank gained Rs 9.4, or 0.98%, to trade at Rs 967. The total volume of shares traded was 47,711 at the BSE (11.44 a.m., Friday).
