AXIS Bank said that the committee of whole-time directors of the bank has allotted 17,197 equity shares of Rs 10 each on Jan. 27, 2014, under the ESOP Scheme of the Bank.

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from 46,92,83,582 equity shares of Rs 10 each to 46,93,00,779 equity shares of Rs 10 each.

Shares of the bank declined Rs 50.95, or 4.22%, to settle at Rs 1,156. The total volume of shares traded was 171,945 at the BSE (Monday).
