Tata Motors falls as MD Karl Slym dies

Tata Motors shares fell on Monday after the company announced that its managing director, Karl Slym died in Bangkok on Sunday. Karl Slym was in Bangkok to attend a meeting of the board of directors of Tata Motors Thailand. Shares of the company are trading at Rs 353.25, down Rs 17.25, or 4.66% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:14 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 365.80 and low of Rs 352.70. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 160,363.
In the earlier session, the shares fell 3.26%, or Rs 12.5, at Rs 370.50.
Currently, the stock is trading down 12.78% from its 52-week high of Rs 405 and above 40.12% over the 52-week low of Rs 252.10.
