The international crude oil price of Indian Basket increased 0.27% to USD 105.80/a barrel (bbl) on Jan. 22, 2014. This was lower by about one USD than the price of USD 105.51/bbl on previous trading day of Jan. 21, 2014.
 
In rupee terms also the crude oil of price Indian Basket went increased to Rs 6,551.14 a bbl on Jan. 22, 2014 as compared to Rs 6493.09/bbl on Jan. 21, 2014. This was due to price increase in dollar terms and also spurred on by rupee depreciation.

Rupee closed weaker at Rs 61.92/USD on Jan. 22, 2014 against Rs 61.54/USD on Jan. 21, 2014.
