Shreyas Shipping & Logistics said that the company has through its wholly owned subsidiary Shreyas Relay Systems (SRS) secured contract from Food Corporation of India (FCl) for multimodal handling and transportation of 20,000 tons per month.
FCl has been permitted by the Union Government to use the sea route to transport foodgrains from Andhra Pradesh to Kerala, tenders.
This contract is expected to substantially add to the company's top line as well as bottom line, it said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.35, or 5.83%, to trade at Rs 24.50. The total volume of shares traded was 1,413 at the BSE (1.38 p.m., Monday).
