Reliance Mediaworks, engaged in film and entertainment business, jumped on Monday after the company said that its board of directors will meet on Jan. 20, 2014, to consider delisting of equity shares from the stock exchanges.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 53.40, up Rs 7, or 15.09% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 11:39 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 55.65 and low of Rs 52. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 664,689.
In the earlier session, the shares lost 4.23%, or Rs 2.05, at Rs 46.40. Currently, the stock is trading down 26.48% from its 52-week high of Rs 72.63 and above 44.72% over the 52-week low of Rs 36.90.
