HCL Info equity shareholders to approve scheme of arrangement

HCL Infosystem, India's leading hardware, services and ICT systems integration company, announced that the High Court of Judicature at Delhi has directed that meetings of the equity shareholders, secured creditors and unsecured creditors of HCL Infosystems be convened and held on July 20, 2013.

The meeting will be held for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Arrangement between HCL Infosystems and HCL System Integration and HCL Care and HCL Learning and HCL Infocom and their respective shareholders and creditors.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.3, or 0.9%, to settle at Rs 33.00. The total volume of shares traded was 11,292 at the BSE (Thursday).
