NEC India, a leading network and IT solutions provider announced a strategic alliance with Ramco systems, an enterprise software product company focused on delivering ERP on cloud, tablets and smart phones.

The partnership aims to serve the growing customer needs for SaaS based ERP to companies in the mid to large enterprise segments in India and could potentially expand into other geographic locations.

Harsh Vardhan G, executive vice president, Global Marketing and channels, Ramco Systems said, ''This partnership will help us take Ramco's offering to NEC customers. We have been growing rapidly and to accelerate our growth, have been identifying strategic partners like NEC.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.45, or 4.46%, to trade at Rs 104.15. The total volume of shares traded was 2,798 at the BSE (12.53 p.m., Thursday).
