Auto stocks gain after FM`s speech

Auto stocks gained on Thursday after Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram has begun reading the UPA's last budget in the Parliament.

Chidambaram said, '' Government proposes to allocate Rs 148.73 billion for Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).''

Ashok Leyland (Q,N,C,F)* gained the most with rise of 1.54% followed by Tata Motors (Q,N,C,F)* ( up 1.15%), Force Motors (1.01%), Bajaj Auto (0.41%) and  Hero Motocorp (0.71%).
