Gold futures up 0.09% at Rs 30,320 per 10 grams

Gold futures slightly gained in noon trade on Tuesday on weak rupee. February 2013 gold futures at the MCX were trading up 0.09% at Rs 30,320 per 10 grams at 12.07 p.m. after hitting high of Rs 30,336. It opened at Rs 30,300.

February futures gold at COMEX were up USD 0.9 or 0.05% to USD 1677.3/t oz.  Meanwhile, in the spot markets, gold was up USD 1.8 or 0.11% to USD 1676.10/ t oz. at 12.16 p.m.
