Etihad likely to complete due diligence for Jet deal by next week

Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways expects to complete due diligence for picking stake in Jet Airways by next week, the Gulf carrier's chief executive James Hogan said on Monday.

Etihad Airways is likely to acquire 24% stake in Jet Airways (Q,N,C,F)* for nearly USD 300 million.

Shares of the company declined Rs 17.85, or 2.87%, to settle at Rs 604.80. The total volume of shares traded was 901,626 at the BSE (Monday).
