Tecpro Systems, an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) company, has received an order worth Rs 1.40 billion from the West Bengal Development Corporation, a Government of West Bengal Enterprise.
The order is for supply of ash handling plant turnkey package for Sagadighi Thermal Power Extention project, phase-II, units 3 and 4 alongwith erection and other related services.
Commenting on the development, Amul Gabrani, vice-chairman & managing director, Tecpro Systems (Q,N,C,F)* said, ''We are glad to receive this order from the West Bengal Power Development Corporation. It has been our continuous effort to strengthen the order book position given our strong performance track record and leadership position in the coal handling and ash handling segment.''
''We have witnessed good traction in order inflows this year having booked orders worth Rs 23 billion till date, compared to Rs 16.38 billion booked during the same period last year. Further, our total order book position till date at about Rs 45 billion. We are confident of maintaining this momentum going forward aided by our unique presence across multiple services offerings,'' he added.
Shares of the company gained Rs 9.45, or 6.31%, to trade at Rs 159.25. The total volume of shares traded was 81,608 at the BSE (11.28 a.m., Monday).
