L&T Construction won new orders valued over Rs 25.03 billion across various business segments. The Infrastructure IC & L&T Construction has secured a prestigious order, valued Rs 19.85 billion (excluding taxes) from GVK Project and Technical services.

L&T will execute major portion of works for 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Power Project located on the Chenab in the Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir. The company has received ‘Limited Notice to Proceed’ to commence operation.

The Building & Factories IC has bagged new orders worth Rs 3.97 billion for the construction of commercial building in Mumbai, including additional orders from various ongoing projects.

In yet another development, the Water & Effluent Treatment business has received an order worth Rs 1.21 billion from the Public Health Engineering Department- Government of Rajasthan for water supply in Fatepur- Laxmangarh, Rajasthan.   

Shares of the company declined Rs 2, or 0.13%, to trade at Rs 1,556.80. The total volume of shares traded was 66,295 at the BSE (12.58 p.m., Tuesday).
