Pennar bags orders worth Rs 500 mn

Pennar Industries, engaged in the production of specialized and engineered metal products and pre-engineered buildings, announced Pennar Industries and Pennar Engineered Building Systems, a subsidiary of the company, has bagged orders worth Rs 500 million.

The company has received order from ABB, Volvo India, Lotus Warehousing & Solutions, ZTT, Samruddhi Industries and Brattle Foods.

Nrupender Rao, chairman of Pennar Industries said ''Pennar is pleased to announce receipt of several prestigious orders worth Rs 500 million. This also includes five orders for its PEBS subsidiary. We are winning new business and are confident of achieving our targets for the year.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.6, or 2.35%, to trade at Rs 26.10. The total volume of shares traded was 11,247 at the BSE (12.19 p.m., Tuesday).
