US stocks posted their biggest daily gain Friday since the U.S. presidential election, after lawmakers said budget talks with the White House were "constructive."
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 45.93 points, or 0.4%, to 12,588.31. The Standard & Poor's 500-stock index added 6.55 points, or 0.5%, to 1,359.88. The Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 16.19 points, or 0.6%, to 2,853.13.
Majority of Indian ADRs ended on a positive note, barring Tata Motors, Tata Communications, ICICI Bank & MTNL.
