Jet Airways inks pact with Expedia Affiliate Network

Jet Airways has entered into a partnership with the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) to offer budget and luxury hotel bookings within India and across the globe on the website www.jetairways.com.

As an introductory offer, guests of Jet Airways (Q,N,C,F)* can enjoy an exclusive 5% discount at more than 160,000 hotels in over 20,000 cities across the world by booking their preferred hotel on jetairways.com or jetkonnect.com.

Guests can also avail this exciting offer and enjoy great savings by simply entering coupon code 'JET5HOTELS' on the 'Traveler Information' page.  The offer is valid for bookings made on or before Nov. 30, 2012 and is applicable on room charges exclusive of taxes.

Similarly, corporate travellers may book one night or two night group packages and avail discounts in any hotel offered by the Expedia Affiliate Network.

Commenting on the partnership, Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer, Jet Airways, said, ''We are delighted to have developed this strategic partnership with EAN. Guest delight is at the core of Jet Airways` strategy to offer better value creation for its guests. Opportunities to engage with a renowned online travel company is of huge value to us; it means we can go above and beyond guest expectations providing them with a number of value-added services.''

EAN's Christopher J Williams, vice president and managing director APAC, said, ''We are excited to partner with Jet Airways and look forward to helping them provide an excellent experience to their customers.''

Shares of the company declined Rs 13.1, or 3.21%, to settle at Rs 395.40. The total volume of shares traded was 613,278 at the BSE (Friday).
